Bermuda/Zoysia Lawn Program:
Round 1: Pre-emergent herbicide to prevent crabgrass, poa annua and other weeds. Post-emergent herbicide to control existing broadleaf weeds such as onions, garlic, and dandelions. Inspect for insect and disease.
Round 2: Nitrogen fertilizer to help “green up” turf coming out of dormancy. Potassium fertilizer to prepare for summer heat and resist disease. Pre-emergent herbicide to prevent crabgrass and other summer weeds. Post-emergent herbicide to control existing broadleaf weeds. Inspect for insect and disease.
Round 3: High grade fertilizer to provide a dark green healthy turf. Spot treat any existing weeds in turf. Inspect for insect and disease.
Round 4: High grade fertilizer to maintain nutrient supply needed for dark green color and health. Spot treat any existing weeds in turf. Inspect for insect and disease.
Round 5: Nitrogen fertilizer to maintain good color for remainder of growing season (depending on climatic conditions and agronomic needs, nitrogen may not be applied). Potassium fertilizer to prepare turf for winter. Pre-emergent herbicide to prevent cool season weeds such as poa annua, henbit, and others. Post-emergent herbicide to control existing weeds. Inspect for insect and disease.
Round 6: Pre-emergent herbicide to prevent winter weeds. Post-emergent herbicide to control existing broadleaf weeds. Potassium fertilizer to maintain winter strength. Inspect for insect and disease.
Round 7: This application is applied to maintain the pre-emergent weed barrier & to rid of any winter weeds present. Such as henbit, chickweed, onions, & others.
Fescue Lawn Program
Round 1: Fertilization to improve/maintain color, health, and vigor.
Round 2: Pre-emergent herbicide to prevent crabgrass and other summer weeds. Post-emergent herbicide to control broadleaf weeds. Inspect for insect and disease.
Round 3: Pre-emergent and post-emergent herbicide to prevent and rid of weeds. Inspect for insect and disease.
Round 4: Iron application to maintain a dark green color. Inspect for insect and disease.
Round 5: Seed starter fertilizer to be done in conjunction with aeration and overseeding of turf.
Round 6: High grade fertilizer to provide a dark green and healthy turf.
Round 7: High grade fertilizer to provide a dark green and healthy turf. Post-emergent herbicide to control weeds.
